3DUM PH8R is the true story of the author, Jasper Baydala, and his struggle to come to terms with the success of his peers in the Montreal music and art community. Insufferable jealousy inspires Baydala to attack such artists as Braids, Mac DeMarco, Cadence Weapon, TOPS, and Sean Nicholas Savage – as well as the men and women involved behind the scenes with Arbutus Records. The names have been changed, but the sentiment is reckless and transparent. Spanning 200 pages of prose, poetry and sketches, 3DUM PH8R is the fifth and most complete novel of Baydala’s tumultuous career.
